Alamat are signs, in particular signs used in the desert made with stones to guide the caravans. For this work, Alamat shows us the way between the Pharaonic past and the present day and also directs us back through history. The visitor can re-discover a daily common space as an archeologist of the third millenary could do. The mainly visible shapes are well known pharaonic symbols. The basic colours of each room for example are thoses of the pharaonic period: yellow (women), red (man) and blue (the gods).
